Eligibility
  • School or college students across India with a family income below INR 3 LPA from all sources.
  • Scored a minimum 60% in previous class / board exams
  • Special consideration for students
    • Who have lost their parent(s)/ earning family member(s) during Covid pandemic
    • Who are facing financial crisis to pay to their educaiton fee
    • Who have a patient in the family with critical illness (Father/Mother/Sibling)
    • Who are physically disabled
Benefits:

INR 15,000 (for school students) | INR 30,000 (for college students) 

Other benefits:

Selected beneficiaries will receive 1-o-1 mentoring from Buddy4Study team. 

Students can also be given paid internships within Buddy4Study organization.

Buddy4Study & its team together is setting up this Kindness Circle to support educaiton of needy and deserving students with family income below 3.6 LPA in below two categories: 

  1. Students who are in financial crisis & need urgent support
  2. Children, siblings, dependents of B4S team members 

There are multiple times, Buddy4Study team came across profiles of students who are in dire need of education fund &/or mentoring. The cases are critical and need urgent interventions. We created this Kindness Circle to support these students with finance and mentoring both.

  • Who can donate to Smiling Star (Buddy4Study) Kind Circle?

    We have setup this Kindness Circle from the support of below beautiful people and organizations.  

    1. Buddy4Study team who are donating (monthly payroll giving)
    2. Buddy4Study organization as monthly matching team donations (upto 1% of its earnings)
    3. Buddy4Study well wishers including shareholders, customers, advisors, family members
  • What is mode of donation for supporting a student? Tax benefits to donors?

    One can donate either via Payroll giving or through online donations via debit/credit card/online banking.

    Tax benefits (80G certificate) will be provided to all donors along with access to list of all beneficiaries.

  • Who takes ownership of Circle fund utilization and beneficiary selection?

    A Circle committee who will supervise & act all circle donations & operations (scholar selection & fund disbursement). More details:

    • Participation from all departments including BD, Operation, Content, Technology, Finance
    • Scholar announcements on every townhall with their profiles

    3. By being a mentor to scholars & sharing knowledge, experience and guidance
